Diary Foreshadowing…

Me, age 9–already love sickphoto diary. Where does a kid learn the phrase “I can’t bear it anymore?”

  1. My dear Ms. Bloom. You are certainly setting the bar high. I have a strong interest in successful marketing strategies and I have to admit to being more than a little curious on how you would fulfill that particular role. Of course, as the expert Harlequin professional that you are, you pretty much rock your world there but this is an entirely different side of you to see. All I can say is that your talents go far beyond the editing pen. You have approached the marketing of your novel with a fearless and incredibly genius method. Because I’m subscribed to your blog, I get notifications of each one and although I don’t want to hog the cyber sphere, I simply couldn’t let this particular posting go without commenting.

How in the world do you do it? Posting your diary when you were 9 years old? Oh my – I think you just reached in and grabbed the heart of every lover of romance out there. This simple posting is far more powerful than many that I’ve seen where sophisticated technique and phrasing had been used.

Amazing. I love it. I’m even more of a fan today and that’s hard to beat. Thank you for being who you are. You are definitely special.

  2. Thanks, Karen! I’ve been cleaning out my apartment, just to rid myself of clutter, and found my diaries. Needless to say, I didn’t get much cleaning done! I remember that 9 y.o. girl so well and it was nice to visit with her again. Most of what I write is by happenstance, which usually serves me well. Thanks so much for reading–and your support!
